I decided to share with you my favourite places to eat healthy in Dublin, and yes it is possible to eat out and still maintain a healthy clean diet. Eating nutritious food doesn’t have to be boring and it certainly doesn’t mean restricting yourself to the kitchen only. Here are my top five places to get a healthy meal in Dublin
5) The Punnet
A great spot to grab a healthy salad, wrap, juice and clean treat. I can confess to being fully addicted to their healthy protein balls and healthy caramel slices. What i love about this spot is that their salads and juices are super healthy, with very little extras, simple, raw and tasty as hell. You can even order your food online with The Punnet adding to the convenience of eating healthy. They have three locations, Richmond Street, Glasthuale and Lower Mount Street.

POG is a lively little spot that i have been going to over the last year, happy to say i was one of their first loyal customers and fans. The staff here are wonderful and so friendly, and you know they are doing something right with almost 12k followers on Instagram. They sell delicious chopped salads, soups, juices and the most unbelievable protein pancakes in Dublin. You can get yourself a Pog on Bachelors Walk just off O’Connell Street.

3) Cocu Kitchen
Ok the truth is i have only eaten at Cocu Kitchen once with my sister, but the salad i ordered was just so good that it deserved a mention in my top five list. I picked the slow roasted pork with spinach and sweet potatoe, and it was to die for. Also if you plan on visiting Cocu Kitchen be advised lunch time is chaotic but that serves as a true testament to how good this spot is.

As if i couldn’t love this spot anymore than i already did, as a die hard sushi fan. Yamamori Izakaya on Georges street have a super healthy option for those who want to maintain a healthy diet and still head out for dinner or lunch. Their healthy options comes with three options chicken, venison or salmon and all come with a side of rice and crunchy vegetables. This option is high protein and low in carbohydrates and is always cooked to perfection. I enjoy it with a side of their complimentary green tea.
The Healthy Option
1) Staple foods
So firstly i have to say that my heart is broken that Staple foods Temple bar is closing, with the company focusing on their branch in Grattan Street. The rumour mill has mentioned a new location closer to Grafton Street, which i would be thrilled about. Staple foods has come in as number one on my list of the top five healthy places to eat in Dublin. It is one of my favourite spots that i eat in almost every week. Their salads are seriously out of this world, when you eat at Staple foods you never want to eat junk food again. The food is so good its hard to believe that it is so healthy and nutritious. Not only are the salads amazing they are always HUGE portions and i am yet to finish a full Staple food salad in one sitting.
